Art and Experience Cinema
Art and Experience cinematic institute started its activity from October 2014,
to be an opportunity to show worthwhile movies chosen from non-commercial ones,
in order to demonstrate the brilliance of their creators in the cinema
community. It also makes a profound impact towards improving Iranian filmgoer’s
knowledge regarding movies as well as flourishing artistic aspects of Iranian
cinema.
Fajr International Film Festival
Iran's annual Fajr International Film Festival (Persian: جشنواره بینالمللی فیلم
فجر), or Fajr Film Festival (little: FIFF; Persian: جشنواره فیلم فجر), has
been held every February and April in Tehran since 1982. The festival is
supervised by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. The festival has
been promoted locally and internationally through television, radio and
webinars; speakers have come from the United States, the United Kingdom, and
Germany.
Farabi Cinema Foundation
Established in 1983, Farabi Cinema Foundation has operated in a wide range of
activities which covers all aspects of cinema and film industry - however now
its objectives are mainly focused on feature films. Farabi has produced films,
supplied raw materials, lent camera equipments, provided post-production
facilities, published various cinematic literature and sponsored film festivals
since the very first steps of launch of New Iranian Cinema. FCF has organized
Fajr Film Festival as well as Children Film Festival for over last two decades.
International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults
Established in 1982, the International Film Festival for Children and Young
Adults (ICFF) is an annual film festival held in the historic city of Isfahan,
Iran. ICFF is organized by the Iranian Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual
Affairs, Farabi Cinema Foundation and the Municipality of Isfahan. This year
it’s the 32nd edition of this prestigious event to be held from August 19th to
26th, 2019 under the supervision of the Managing Director of Farabi Cinema
Foundation, Alireza Tabesh. A wide range of quality feature, short and animation
films from all around the globe will be showcased in the event.
The Cinema Museum Forum
The establishment of the Cinema Museum of Iran was the fulfillment of a dream;
an accomplishment that delighted the advocates of Iranian culture with the
promise that the efforts of the founders and enthusiasts of this artistic
industry will be recorded and safeguarded as a guiding light for the future
generations, as well as a source of pride and honor for those who have watched
the reflection of their lifetime achievements on the silver screen.
