Avangan is an Iranian manufacturer of Electric transmission towers and Radio
masts and towers in Arak. This company was established in 1974 by IDRO Group and
the Ministry of Energy of Iran. Avangan has 80% of Iran's market in the
transmission towers.
AzarAb Industries
AzarAb Industries is an Iranian manufacturing corporation that constructs power
plants, factories, petrochemical plants and sugar, oil and gas refineries that
is located in Arak. As of 2005, AzarAb Industries, employed more than 2,500
people. Their main products are air preheaters, boilers, butterfly valves, water
turbines, reactors, fractionating columns and pressure vessels.
HEPCO
Heavy Equipment Production Company (HEPCO) is an Iranian corporation that
manufactures construction equipment, agricultural machinery, railroad cars,
trucks, forklifts and the industrial machinery of oil, gas, energy, metal and
mining industries in Arak, HEPCO is the largest heavy equipment manufacturer in
the Middle East. This company has 1,500 employees with an annual production
capacity of 4,800 units.
Iran Combine Manufacturing Company
Iran Combine Manufacturing Company (ICM) is the largest combine manufacturer in
the Middle East that is located in Arak. ICM was established in 1969 under
license of American John Deere.
Iranian Aluminium Company
Iranian Aluminium Company (IRALCO) is an Iranian aluminum manufacturer located
in Arak. It is the largest producer of aluminum in Iran. Its plant covers 232
hectares (570 acres) and has an annual production capacity of 190,000 tonnes
(210,000 short tons) per year, consisting of different pure ingots in the shapes
of T-bar, casting alloys, billets with different size, slab, and electrical
conductors. About 11,000 fabrication plants and workshops with more than 250,000
personnel are working in industries affiliated to aluminum. The products of the
firm are produced according to the international standards and the minimum
purity of aluminum is 99.70%.
LAJVAR Industrial Group
LAJVAR Industrial Group is an Iranian crane manufacturing company that was
established in 1985 in Arak. Products include truck-mounted cranes, telescopic
cranes, hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic cylinders and line trucks. This company
exports its products mainly to Romania, Azerbaijan, UAE, Sudan, Kuwait, Qatar,
Jordan and Armenia. Lajvar is the largest crane manufacturer in the Middle East.
Machine Sazi Arak
Machine Sazi Arak (MSA) is an Iranian manufacturing corporation that was
established in 1967 in an area of 134 hectares in the city of Arak in order to
support underlying industries and meet the industrial needs of the country. Some
of the activities and products of MSA are as follows: Engineering, procurement,
construction, installation of oil, gas, petrochemical, chemical factories,
automotive and metal industries and power plant equipment including storage
tanks, mobile and fixed pressure vessels, fractionating columns, heat
exchangers, air coolers, spherical tanks, indirect heat exchangers, mobile oil
treating (MOT) units, gate valves and well-head equipment, drilling rigs,
process pumps for oil and gas industry, cranes and hydro mechanical equipment
for dams, fire tube and water tube boilers as well as combination cycles
boilers, bridges and heavy steel structures, production of alloy steels,

Navard Aluminium Mfg. Group is an Iranian Aluminium manufacturer located in
Arak. The group exports non-alloy aluminium mainly to Canada, Germany, Japan,
Iraq, Qatar, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

Wagon Pars (in Persian: شرکت واگن پارس, Shirkat-e Vâgân-e Pers) is an Iranian
train and locomotive manufacturer established in 1974, in Arak. Products include
locomotives, trains, metros, freight and fuel railroad cars, and equipment for
passenger boarding of aircraft. It is the largest rolling stock manufacturer in
the Middle East.
